The machine was completely disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, geometrically overhauled, repainted, and then professionally reassembled. The machine geometry was checked according to DIN 8605 and documented in an inspection report.
As part of the partial overhaul, all machine functions were checked, and the gib strips were inspected and readjusted.
In addition, the machine was extensively modernized and its safety features were upgraded:

- new 3-axis digital display
- new spindle guard with micro-switch
- new lead and feed screw cover
- new coolant tank made of stainless steel
- new splash guard back panel made of stainless steel
- new coolant pump including necessary adjustment work
- new MultiFix quick-change tool holder size C
- new three-jaw chuck
- eight new machine feet

The VDF Boehringer DUE 500 is in very good technical and optical condition and is immediately ready for use.
